Isami hit rock bottom really fast lol
Losing your only means of surviving does that to a guy.
Does that to anybody 😅
Isami diplomacy:
1) Strike first
2) Engage dialogue if they survive step 1.
3) Continue attack if they are deemed hostile.4) End naked
Step 4 is the most important one.
LOL honestly I'm glad Isami had broke down there, that was hilarious. Where on earth did he find that white flag?
Lol yeah, Isami literally attacked before she could speak then says "We should hear her out" after the fact.
he borrowed it from france
His historical laugh and saying both Bravern + Superbia's is dead and saying we're so screwed is where I lost it 🤣
Yuuki Bakuhatsu Bang Bravern (Brave Bang Bravern!)
Source: Original.
Genres: Action, comedy, sci-fi, mecha, military, parody.
Studio: CygamesPictures.
(The Japanese animation studio subsidiary of Cygames is known for Princess Connect! Re:Dive, Uma Musume: Pretty Derby - Road to the Top ova's, Mysteria Friends, and Blade Runner: Blackout 2022 short special.)
Personal thoughts:
First of all the animation and visuals was great which is to be expected of Cygames works^^
Another most biggest highlight is the anime's OP has it's own theme song "Ba-Bang to Suisan! Bang Bravern" by Kenichi Suzumura which was very catchy and reminds of the early 2000's mecha anime of that time like Godannar. Also to the surprise is the off putting but enjoyable ED of Isami and Smith doing love opera singing at the end with the song Souen no Shouzou playing.
If anything negatives is the story was cheesy asspull-ing with so many old school tropes with over abundant amounts of comedy with non-stop action and massive rushing but this was the best parts of the show that was so hilarious.
Even giving this it's charm.
Aside that the easter eggs in this was both Kugimiya Rie & Kenjirou Tsuda playing the final mechs at the end was a nice surprise ^^
Anyways the massive BS pulled was ether highlight or a turnoff which it was both for me but ether way it was still a nice watch and glad we got Smith back so Ga gi pi 7/10..
Isami: "but mah Geneva conventions!"
With that humanity is saved…
And all it took was tokusatsu loving mechas, time travel, reincarnation and a bit of BL lol
Now that humanity is saved, I want an OVA with the aftermath.
An ova with Lewis marrying Isami and adopting Lulu please :D
We can dream =D
Well, this happened, lol
LOOOL THIS ENDING! This ending was hilarious! I could not stop laughing throughout this entire episode, the amount of crap they threw into this was great. They made sure to end this as the parody it's meant to be. I am glad I can leave this series feeling happy because that was such a great ending for this.
Watching Isami finally break down and him just not giving a damn anymore was funny to watch, even his speech had no energy, like his mind was gone. The way he surrendered especially was great, "I'm surrender!" and that facial expression, Isami was clearly done being a hero.
It was sad to see Superbia also get killed but with how this ended it makes sense that he did unfortunately.
Isami being able to use Bravern's body was an interesting surprise, him speaking to Bravern and Smith and realizing they're both the same was nice to finally see, I was wondering when he would learn the truth but this was a good way for him to realize. I do like how Smith speaks like Bravern does rather than how he normally does, that was an interesting detail to implement by the director.
Talking about that detail, I also really like how when Isami becomes one with Bravern's body, the way he speaks is also how Bravern speaks, the way he says the moves, how he has a "hero" voice whenever he says his lines, it felt good to hear such attention to detail like that. Then there's also the fact that Isami sings Bravern's theme song during his fight.
The longer hair was an unexpected addition but Isami looked good, I liked the look. I also like that Lulu was able to become one with Superbia's body too and became a sword for Isami, the length of her hair took me by real surprise, it was a lot longer than Isami's in comparison to their original hairstyles.
But man I could not stop laughing when Isami kept interrupting Varum Vita and just kept choosing to attack her in the middle of her lines, I am glad Isami isn't "considerate" enough to leave any openings and made sure to attack at any chance he could.
I like that everyone came as support for the final fight, how on earth they recorded this is something I'd like to find out with the cast list being so long at the end. It's a sweet gesture to end the series in this way. I am glad Smith was also included in the giving his Brave energy to Isami.
Verum Vita constantly being interrupted and getting progressively more pissed off was pretty funny. Kugimiya Rie clearly had fun with that short role, lol
Lol yeah, that got good laughs from me. I also agree, you could tell she was going all out.
It was really sad to see after the fight ends Isami and Lulu crying because Superbia and Bravern/Smith were disappearing for good but I'm SOOO glad they revived Smith!
I wish Isami went and hugged him too (and not because they were both naked) but it would have been great to see Isami finally use this opportunity to express him greatly to Smith since he's been missing him this entire time. I do have to point out though, Smith's eyes are not his original eye color, they're in Bravern's eye color so it's interesting how Bravern is still within him.
Anyways, this series was a wild ride. I enjoyed it very much, that enjoyment did take a hit during the episodes after Smith's death, I did find the pacing in a number of episodes to be too fast and I wish we got more interactions between Smith and Isami but these last two episodes have been great and this ending was such a great way to wrap it all up.
I would definitely watch a sequel of this but I have a feeling there won't be anything more for this series.
Isami must of tooks some notes of that Death Note iskeai and don't give the enemy even a chance to finish they're monologue 😏
This ending made no sense.
It was BS after BS after BS until they just said Random BS, GO!!!.
BUT that was so entertaining to watch. xD
And of course, it has to end on the protagonists being naked. lmao
This was very entertaining to watch, from the comedy timing to the fight scenes passing by how aware they are of the abusrdity of the genre and the extremely gay undertone.
I give this show a Brave Bang/10.
and the extremely gay undertone.
More like gay overtone XD
it was Gay the whole time
Always has been
This is the epitome of a Mecha anime nonsense and I was here for it
it's giving aquarion vibes tbh
To me it was giving off Godannar vibes, but yeah there was some Aquarion vibes.
This anime was really good in my opinion, and the last episode was just fun to watch 🤗.
Sad because of Superbia, but it was an important part to finish this whole battle..
I was so glad they managed to revive Smith!!
Too bad Isami didn't give Smith a hug too 😅❤️.
Great ending to this anime!
All Smith got was a punch from Isami the first time he appeared in front of him lol.
This anime was goofy as hell and I had SO MUCH fun akljdalkjfalkjf I love that they brought Smith back, idc if it made his sacrifice less impactful or whatever argument people are gonna have, I just wanted my silly blond himbo back lol
LMAO!!!
What a fantastic ending and parody of super robots! God I love this show.
I am a bit disappointed that Superbia didn't get to fight much. I imagine time/episode constraints couldn't allow it.
Also a huge and wonderful surprise appearance of the queen of tsunderes Rie Kugimiya voicing the final boss!
Y'know what I also hope for? One more extra episode featuring the timeline of Future Lulu. The one where Isami and Bravern die fighting and defeating Ira and Popalchipum. Especially Ira since he was the final boss in Future Lulu's timeline.
Isami: "Bravern's dead. Superbia's dead. Laughs Yup, we're screwed."
If that doesn't set the tone of this episode, IDK what can.
Was expecting Isami & Lulu to become robots themselves with the power of their bravery and each of their robots corpse fusing with them NGL. If Smith can do it, so can those two. But the gold auras plus Isami using Lulu as a sword was pretty cool. And hey, Smith became human again!
Yeah this show was high as hell, and I unapologetically loved it TBH!
Multi-layered fusions fix everything. :P
well, this was a fun ride
No pun intended
Lulu's boyfriend superbia died and is gone for good, but I'm happy that Isami's got reincarnated. So he can marry Lewis and adopt Lulu :D
Really loved this crazy series, and I'm happy that Lewis is alive as he's my favorite character in the show
no Superbia is her Uncle
Smith is her boyfriend
and Isami is his Boyfriend
Smith is everybody's boyfriend. XD
Accurate100
UltraMan!!!
not me counting the minutes till the
Absurdb Mecha anime ever
Next SRW, Bravern should be included
You mean the next REAL SRW. Super Robot Wars DD just recently put Bravern in. But that's a mobile game, so doesn't count.
I don't know that I've ever laughed and cried at the same time, this hard, as I have with this series.
Only this anime is allowed to used all these tropes without it being cringe.
This is probably the closest someone got to the final battle in Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, but, well... it's not bad, being as unhinged as it is it's just, okay.
oh man this show was so ridiculous, made me cringe a little bit but funny as hell
Wöw. Honestly the last time I feel this positive about a (modern) Mecha anime was SSSS Gridman :o
Lol, Isami just raising the white flag and ready to surrender. Was not expecting that at all. 😂
Lulu pointing out the flaw in Isami’s logic when he talked about hearing Verum Vita out AFTER firing a beam at her was hilarious. 🤣
